Rainguard earns a round of applause for radius gutters

A wide choice of materials and the ability to offer customers a bespoke service made Yeoman Rainguard an ideal choice to supply specially made radius gutters to fit unusual roundels on a development of new and restored homes at Ladygrove Farm on the historic Sutton Place estate in Guildford.

The development has been subject to a major refurbishment and restoration of the existing farmhouse and barns plus the construction of two sympathetically styled new houses.

Yeoman Rainguard worked in conjunction with leading construction services provider, Hilife Construction, to manufacture, supply and install radius gutters from the GRP range and associated rainwater goods from the XL Aluminium range.

Yeoman Rainguard manufactured and supplied radius gutters to fit the curved walls to provide an aesthetically pleasing solution for unusually shaped buildings, such as oast houses, churches, towers and bow fronted homes.

Templates were taken and moulds manufactured to ensure the accuracy of the radius. The flexible qualities of GRP enable the company to shape and form radius gutters in any profile and any radius, both internal and external.

“Our range is continually expanding,” said sales director, Phil Christopher. “Where a special gutter profile is required, we can match existing items by either moulding from an original or producing a hand made pattern and mould from the client’s own design.”

Other buildings in the development used gutters & downpipes from Yeoman Rainguard’s XL Aluminium range. The attractive powder coated finish and jointing technology, which enables quick installation, made the XL range a popular choice.
