Yeoman rainguard makes its mark on 'recognised' building

Yeoman Rainguard (the market leader in Rainwater Systems) has made its mark on a sympathetic modern extension to St Margaret's Church in Leeds which was shortlisted for the New Building award in the 2009 Leeds Architecture Awards and was also a front runner in the 2009 RICS Pro Yorkshire Awards (designed to celebrate the most inspirational regional developments in land, property, construction and the environment).

The new extension to the gothic church has been fitted with Yeoman Rainguard black textured XL aluminium gutters and round pipes, which are popular for new build projects where a more traditional appearance is required. The XL Aluminium range offers the latest in joint technology making it quick and easy to install.

Yeoman Rainguard GRP hoppers bring character and traditional style to old or new buildings and Beaded Box hoppers added the finishing touches to the project. Yeoman Rainguard can also manufacture bespoke hoppers to individual designs and, where a historic or existing design is to be matched, GRP hoppers can be replicated.

The main contractor for the project, Paul Whitehead, managing director of P A Whitehead builders, based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, said: "We knew from previous experience that Yeoman Rainguard had the expertise to meet the exacting requirements of this project and were very pleased with the products and service they provided."
