Yeoman Rainguard 'Top' choice for barn conversion

Yeoman Rainguard was the ideal choice for a quality, cost effective system required to provide the finishing touches and essential character to a barn conversion in a rural village setting.

The barn is located in a sensitive setting and Yeoman Rainguard was able to supply rainwater products that were both practical and blended in well with the surrounding period properties.

Yeoman Rainguard's Aluminium XL Deepflow system was chosen to meet the challenge of a steep roof pitch as it can be fitted directly to the fascia allowing for a high capacity gutter. This resulted in a minimum number of discharge pipes and a subsequent saving on both materials and groundworks.

A representative from Yeoman Rainguard said: "Yeoman Rainguard's bespoke facility enabled us to overcome the rather quirky requirements of the barn, with plinth and downpipe mountings. These provide overall impact to the look of a building as well as coping with the building's demands. In addition, the powder coated aluminium will stay in excellent condition for years to come and will not require any further maintenance.

"The XL Aluminium system has no external joints or brackets and a fast fit internal clip system, ensuring quick and easy installation. The smooth lines of the system enable the focus to remain on the barn itself rather than on the rainwater system."
