Integrity: – We WILL NOT sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties (unless we are required to do so by law.) How We Process Your Details: – We will hold your details on our data base for no more than 2 years, if you are not actively purchasing or enquiring from us. We will periodically send you direct marketing updates on products and prices based on our legitimate business interests that we believe will be of interest to you.

Telephone Payments by Credit/Debit Cards: -Your payment by credit/debit card where you give card details over the phone will be processed via our online payment app. By using this method your card details are not written down but entered straight into the computer programme. Accounting Process: – On placement of an order your company contact details (these will only include your name if you are purchasing as a sole trader or private individual,) will be transferred to our internal SAGE accounting system. Your contact details will remain on our customer relations/marketing database in accordance with our policy unless you have requested otherwise. A named appropriate individual maybe placed in the notes section for the purpose of credit control. SAGE is a non – marketing database and is used purely for the process of orders and financial transactions. To satisfy financial law requirements details for each order placed will be held on SAGE for 6 years. A “tidy up” of the SAGE accounting system is carried out on an annual basis where details of those companies who have not purchased from Harrison Thompson for over 6 years will be removed. Records (Paper & Digital): – We make every effort to ensure your data is stored securely (i.e. locked storage facilities and password access to databases.) and we will inform you immediately if a data security breach were to occur. In accordance with our procedures, at the appointed time, hardcopy documentation will be removed from our storage by a certified confidential waste collector and shredded. A copy of this process can be requested at any time.

CCTV: – Is used at the site of Harrison Thompson & Co. Ltd. Head office and manufacturing facilities in Leeds. It is used as security for the possessions and buildings of the business and for the purpose of identifying individuals engaged in criminal activity. CCTV recordings and logs are stored securely and encrypted wherever possible. An individual has a right to request a copy of CCTV footage, in which they are in focus and/or clearly identifiable, free of charge.
